Our pub offers flexible dining spaces from a secluded, cosy table for two, up to a private dining room for 20 and garden areas for large outdoor parties, including our new marquee for up to 40pp
Inside we have seating for up to 60 people spread through five separate areas. Our main Bar area is informal and tables are rarely reserved to allow locals and fellow casual drinkers space to relax. The Boaters Den seats up to 12 with a variety of tables/layouts. The beautiful blue Rousham Room has up to 20 covers for dining in style and finally our Coffee Room allows a more casual dining or drinking experience for up to 10. Dogs on leads are welcome in the Bar, Snug and Boaters Den. Well beahved children are also very welcome - we are a family pet-friendly pub

Lower Heyford is a prettyy village alongside the popular Oxford Canal, just 10 minutes away from the M40, Jct 12. We’re 15 minutes from Bicester and Blenheim Palace, and 25 minutes from Banbury & Oxford. We’re in the heart of the stunning Cherwell Valley and the Cotswold Borders, with Chipping Norton just 40 minutes away.
Heyford has its own train station, so why not leave the car at home and visit us by direct train from Oxford, Banbury, and local stations! Better still, come by boat - we welcome holiday hirers and their children & pets.

WE HAVE A WONDERFUL GARDEN!
Outdoors, from Spring to Autumn, our lovely shady garden offers up to 100 seats on the traditional picnic tables – very popular with families and drinkers – and a further 40 seats at our fantastic teak dining tables and armchairs under lovely umbrellas: a fabulous way for friends and families to enjoy dining out together in the fresh air for the warmer times of year – booking very strongly advised to avoid disappointment. Dogs on leads are very welcome in the garden.
